Jennifer was a wonderful host. The kids enjoyed the playground and extra kid toys. The cottage had excellent fishing and the granite rock Cliff was so beautiful to look at during our stay. We visited Kingston and did a 1000s island tour. We had a wonderful time! Thank you Jen and Steve for the 5 star stay!

Steve & Jens place was a lovely get away into nature! A very clean and cozy spot with a family-home feel, right on the water. 30 minutes from Kingston but isolated enough to feel like a real retreat. The lake does have quite a bit of seaweed but it was fun to take the kayak and canoe out. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I've been vacationing in the Battersea area for over 30 years and have never had a finer place to stay. The cottage is very well appointed, clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the lake. The decks and dock were fantastic places to relax and the steps from the dock into the lake made access a breeze; we made extensive use of the kayaks to fish and to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. The kitchen is very well equipped and the grill on the deck was perfect for our steak dinner. The extensive movie collection made it hard to narrow down our choices, which is an added bonus should the weather get rainy (we had sunny days, though). Since our families weren't with us on this trip we didn't take advantage of the badminton or bocce ball sets but the expansive lawn would be perfect for it. All in all, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at a fantastic venue. Finally, our hosts were fantastic, communicating via text to ensure that check-in was a breeze and that all of our needs were met. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to enjoy the beauty of the country while still having the comforts of home. Thanks Steve and Jen!

The cottage was lovely, comfortable, and very private and the view of the lake was spectacular. We really enjoyed the kayaks. Would definitely return.

Steve and Jen make you feel at home and very comfortable as they are quick to respond to any questions you may have. Quiet cottage that you can spend your time swimming and relaxing while sitting by the lake. Some people might like water shoes but we did not need it at all. Cottage is clean and comfortable. It was a great stay!!
