The picture perfect Swedish archipelago experience! We are a family of 8 with 3 kids and loved our stay here. The arrival by boat through the reeds will immediately set the mood. The kids loved playing on the little sand beach, and toys for days! We swam and used the paddle board and row boat. There’s a forest 10 min walk away for exploring and foraging (mushrooms! Berries!) We took the boat out to a lovely local beach one day. The kitchen was great, with a large island and plenty of room for everyone- key when all meals have to be home cooked. There’s a grocery store 10 min drive away, that has pretty much everything. We brought all our food since Mathem was no longer delivering mid August. Make sure to bring mosquito/bug spray. It is very special to be so close to nature, so don’t let the mosquitos distract from the dreaminess of it all. The kids can’t wait to go back, and I can’t wait for next years chanterelle harvest. We loved our stay. The house is beautiful and the location is stunning, a real gem for the entire family. Our kids loved all the toys and the little beach. We rented the boat so we were flexible and it gave us the a real archipelago experience. Frida was a fantastic host, always available, helpful and proactive to make sure there was nothing we needed. I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing stay! We travelled with the whole family including kids and it was relaxing but never boring. Frida had a travel cot, high chair and loads of toys for the kids. The adults could take the SUPs, kayaks or boat out on the water right infront of the house. If you like fishing you’re in luck! We caught a lot of fish right from pier which made my fiancee very happy! Frida asked us mutiple times if everything is fine and answer questions immidiately. She even offered to buy us some bedding sheets, since we flew there but we brought our own. The place was spotless and had everything we need. There’s a main housr and the guest house which was great to give my fiancees sister with partner and kids some privacy. Since we were able to rent Fridas boat, we could come and go from the island as we pleased which was great for us. 11/10 recommend ;) we will be back!

Vi tackar Frida och Ante för en fantastisk vecka på Löparö. Vi var 3 par och två små barn. En skärgårdsdröm som ändå känns fräscht och nytt. Perfekt för barnen att kunna leka på stranden eller hoppa studsmatta på eftermiddagen. Vi är supernöjda med både stället och kommunikationen med värdarna och kommer gärna tillbaka fler år!

Frida’s house is just amazing! We were 3 couples a puppy dog and a baby and had so much privacy because of the extra little house that we could use as well. Don’t know where to begin in describing the house itself… It is renovated so beautifully and really has everything that you might need. A massive kitchen which is great for pre dinner drinks and a lovely sitting area to read a book. The garden is a piece of paradise and we made full use of the Kayaks that come with the house to explore the lake (even saw seals!). Frida went above and beyond to prepare her house for us and had set aside a great selection of toys for the baby as well as a baby bed and a stroller. We were also welcomed with some lovely champagne. All so super thoughtful and welcoming! The only thing to note is that the island itself is fairly small and there is no grocery store or cafe. So you need to stock up properly or ensure to have access to a boat…
