Fabulous views of the boats moored in Center Harbor and the island and surrounding waters. It was very peaceful. We saw fireflies at night and the star-studded sky. My wife was up early and enjoyed an incredible sunrise over the harbor. Very well appointed kitchen with lots of utensils. Six of us were comfortable cooking and eating there, overlooking the water. It was a special treat to grill chicken and vegetables on the charcoal barbeque in the backyard. Comfortable living room with - you guessed it - fabulous views of the water, harbor, and Brooklin Boat Yard. Walking distance to the General Store, which seems to be the meeting place in town, and the library and a small farmer's market (certain days and hours). The people we met were very friendly.

Duncan is an ideal host: communicative, friendly, flexible, and (most importantly) lovingly cares for this very special home. My only hesitancy giving a glowing review is that this unique place will be discovered by many and we'll have a hard time booking future reservations (lol). Highly recommend all around.

Wonderful house and fabulous family stay in a perfect location right on the harbor close to Brooklin’s famous Woodenboat School. It doesn’t get any better than this! Would definitely stay here again! Duncan was a gracious host.

This house was incredible we loved it! I could have stayed longer. As a family of 6 it was perfect and could also work for a few families. Great location and kitchen and everything thought of. Thank you Duncan

Wonderful home in a spectacular setting! Glorious views of a small boat yard with sailboats and osprey aplenty. Comfortable home that is easy to manage with both small children and grown ups. We loved every minute of our stay.
