We loved our stay in Campeche and at this listing on a charming street. It felt very homey and had lots of character. Our hosts were extremely responsive. A/C in each area made it easy to cool down. There was a note about what to do if we ran out of water but we never had that issue. The patio are between the main living space and the additional bedrooms was really lovely. There was a slight musty smell in the main space but it wasn't a big deal and I imagine is common given the climate. It was easy to walk to lots of sights and driving in the city was also not a problem when we needed to. Note - the washer is for stays longer than a week - this is clearly stated but I missed it when packing. Having the two (highly adjustable) bikes and helmets was a really nice bonus. There also bikes to rent near the malecón but the ones at the house were in much better condition. Morning runs and bike rides on the malecón was a highlight of our stay. We'd happily return!

The location was great, so was the house but the roosters and dogs made it difficult to get a good nights sleep.

Perfect location in walking distance to calle 59 for restaurants and bars on a beautiful historic side street. Parking was right outside and the rear patio a great place for breakfast with no road noise just the birds for company. Inside the air conditioning is excellent and there is lots of space. This is an old historic property with many character features which we really liked. The owner was super responsive dealing with an issue in under 30 minutes which was excellent. Both the kitchen and bathroom are in need of a deep clean which as its low season hopefully will happen.

This place is gorgeous, has a lot of personality and is proper old Campeche. People with young kids need to know the rooms are separated by a patio and a flight of stairs, which kids or parents might find stressful. Zero issue for us, au contraire!
