The house and surrounding grounds are magnificent. The property is on the lake and has incredible views. The house is very big and comfortable. Great for my family.

Lovely location- photos don't do justice to how pretty the grounds/ view are. Walking distance from town, Roman ruins, beaches, and has lake access. The pool, which is new, was perfect & warm. House was child-safe and had great AC (hard to find in Italy!) However, the location was also a downside- the house is isolated at the top of the Sirmione peninsula, which means that to get to it, you have to drive through the centre of town- teeny tiny streets absolutely packed full of people (v scary drive). On certain days of the week you are not able to enter/ exit at all. This wouldn't be a problem if there were supermarkets/ pharmacies etc. on the peninsula- but there aren't. Given the isolation, the house should be better stocked. There wasn't anything in the fridge on arrival, and at one point we had to go out & buy toilet paper! At these prices, you are competing with luxury resorts & we felt more effort should have been made with preparation & stock to make guests comfortable.
