I stayed here for one night on a road trip west, and it really got my vacation off to the perfect start. The bunkhouse is beautifully appointed, and I arrived to a stunning sunset and freshly baked cookies, guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit! It was a pleasure chatting with Corbi and Gerrald the next morning, and being taken for a walk by Woody for a couple of loops of the pasture to see the wildflowers in full bloom on a perfect 70 degree spring day. I was moving on after one night, but would gladly return for a longer stay to enjoy some peace not too far from the city.

We had a wonderful stay at Corbi's place. We loved the bunkhouse and it being on a working farm ( many cows, chickens and a donkey). There is a lot of lawn area for bunkhouse guests (a fire pit too) and it felt private. Everything was very clean and the house is well furnished with most things one would need. An added plus was the visit from Marty and the many visits from Woody! (dogs) We visited to see the eclipse due to the location's proximity to the path of totality, but if we were going to that part of Texas again we'd definitely return to stay here!

Corbi & Gerald’s place is our new favorite stay of all time!! When we first arrived at their beautiful farm we were greeted by the pasture full of cows (& Brownie) and Woody who is the sweetest pup! We had such an amazing time watching the cows and getting to feed them some snacks, as well as getting to chat with Corbi and Gerald - both were very welcoming and friendly! It was so cool hearing about all the work they have done on their property and it shows as a true labor of love! The bunkhouse was so comfortable and had everything you could need, plus plenty of thoughtful touches! We highly recommend this stay and will definitely be back!!

This is our favorite AirBnB.. Every little thing was perfect and well thought out. We really did not want to leave and we can’t wait to return! Thank you so much for sharing your little corner of the world!!!

I’ve stayed here several times and will continue to stay in the future! It’s the perfect little place out in the country!
