The room was about 11 feet by 13 feet. The condo was once owned by a carpenter and was made into a fancy unit. The full size bed was comfortable. Zarko speaks English well and is happy to host. His building was quiet. Be aware 1960's Spanish apartment blocks tend to be ugly outside but his unit is beautiful inside - the best modern unit in Spain I've seen.

cerca del metro alto de extremadura. facil de ir a cualquier parte centrica de madrid en metro. el cuarto es sencillo, limpio, buen internet. el barrio es tranquilo, seguro y sin mucho ruido. uber del aeropuerto me cobro 30€, o por metro solo 5. recomendable, muy buena opcion.

Perfect place for Madrid. I also stayed in the city center and preferred this location much better. It's still easy to get into the city center. I liked walking to surrounding neighborhoods near Puerta del Angel or the other way towards Lucero as these areas were less touristy and more authentic Madrid. Zarko was a wonderful host: friendly, intelligent, and philosophical. His apartment was spotless. I stayed in four different Airbnb's in Spain and this one was the best.
