This place is a hidden gem, and Sophie was extremely responsive. The place is very very quiet and clean. Please respect everything they want with shoes off and keeping their place clean.

Sophie’s home was spacious and beautiful. She is an attentive host who comes in weekly to touch-up the spaces. But I would like to take the time to emphasize the necessity of still cleaning up after yourselves as guests, for short or long term stays. Sophie had two long-term guests who treated her like a maid and refused to clean up after themselves. If you ask them about sweeping up the food scraps, stains, and hair all over the floor, they would wave you off and say Sophie comes in to clean once a week. If you ask Sophie to speak with them, they deny the mess is theirs. They hogged the appliances and living spaces, invaded your privacy, took advantage of guests’ kindness and of Sophie’s hospitality and were not picking up the hint (or just didn’t care) that Sophie wished for them to leave. They very obviously felt they were living in high luxury and had hit some kind of jackpot. Treat these homes the way you would wish for your guests to treat your homes. That is all.
