Our young family of five found a comfortable stay at Burke and Leslie's condo in Annandale. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was nice and tidy. The location was really convenient - a quick drive to the VRE train station which took us to DC and all of the Smithsonian Museums. Our hosts were delightful to communicate with throughout our stay. We hope to come back to Virginia sometime and would stay here again!

Burke is a great host and I would recommend his place to friends and family. I came to VA from NY to visit my grandmother and this place was conveniently just a ten minute ride away from her. The host was very responsive, kind and accommodating. For a small fee, we had the option to check in/check out later which was very helpful. I would definitely come back with my family.

Pictures of the condo are inaccurate as you can't see how outdated the apartment is. I condo was not clean. You could not walk on the floor without your the soles of your feet or socks being completely black. The condo could use a deep cleaning especially with higher expectations from the cleaning crew. The host responded well to having someone come back and clean the floor a second time but a simpler swiffer wipe down is not sufficient for that floor. The area rug was disgusting, it would be better off removed than to have something so dirty in the living room. There was a broken window that was not patched up well from the outside in the balcony area. It was a huge safety hazard that might kids could have severely cut themselves on if I had not seen it first. This could be a nice condo as the area is quiet but more of an effort needs to be put in cleaning and higher expectations from the cleaning service.
