this place does have a great location and a lot of potential. But it needs maintenance, a good cleaning, and property managers that will respond to safety issues. The front door was broken and had nails sticking out. It was very difficult to open and close, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, many lightbulbs were burnt out and the upstairs shower curtain was covered with black mold. When I called, they were very nice and said they would take care of it right away, this was the first day of our 16 day stay. I called every day for the next seven days and every day they said they were sending out their local manager after day eight they stopped responding to my calls and emails and when we left on day 16, no one had ever come, or contacted us. I will say that Airbnb jumped right in and took care of us once I talked to them on day seven. I would definitely stay in another Airbnb. Just not one managed by Vacasa. Had I known from day one they were never going to take care of it. I would have bought a shower, curtain and lightbulbs.

Summary - 2 star condo, 5 star location. Know the island is rural and if you show up after dark in the resort, it's very difficult to locate the cottage. Half of the resort seems to be condemned. That being said, the beach is beautiful and we shared it with no more than a dozen people.

Very quiet and peaceful. The resort is a 30 minute drive from any grocery store or restaurant or anything really. There is a small convenience store on the resort with low quality items for exorbitant prices, shopping is much cheaper in the village. I had several issues with the unit and struggled to reach the host, someone off the island returned my call the next business day when I called about the washing machine not functioning, needing basic room items, etc. I received a call informing me I was being charged for a lost key 1-1/2 weeks after I had already checked out even though the key was left in the unit as directed by instructions taped to the fridge. The last issue I realize is my fault but shows lack of support, I forgot my blood pressure medication in the unit and called asking if it could be shipped to me on Maui at my own expense and never received a return phone call at all, my medication was never sent.
