Jordi was a very responsive and helpful host. The apartment was clean, well appointed, and in a perfect location. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this apartment. When we arrived the toilet was not working. The toilet kept running and wouldn’t stop, which was very loud. This was at 7pm. Jordi said they could fix it the next morning (and he didn’t seem to believe me that it was broken). He finally got it fixed at 4pm the next day. He did not really apologize even though this is obviously a big issue. When I first arrived I also noticed the apartment smelled like cigarettes, there were vomit stains next to the toilet, and the apartment in general was not well maintained. Tiles falling apart. Holes in the wall. You also could not open the windows safely without kids likely to fall out. It felt more like a college dorm than a luxury apartment. The second bedroom has no windows and smells bad. We ended up leaving the apartment two days early. Jordi did not reimburse me but finally airbnb did. Overall, sadly, a bad experience.

The location is excellent in Gràcia. Can’t fault that. Apartment is spacious and in an old building with character. Bathroom and kitchen good. The furniture is pretty basic and not particularly homely. The main issue for us was the noise of the flat above particularly the bedroom area where scraping of chairs and tables went on all evening until quite late. Also neighbours running and shouting up and down the stairs.
