A lovely place to stay for a girls weekend away. We loved the decor, the location and the super comfy beds. Suzie the dog is a sweetie and the chickens were pretty cute too. Thanks for having us!

We had a very peaceful weekend. The old school house was warm , cosy and charming. Beds super comfortable and great shower ! We loved the evening view of the mountains and watching the sheep weed around the vines ! Thanks Simon

Peaceful, quiet, scenic. The cabin is part of the vineyard. You will wake up with sheep’s, chickens, and birds singing in the morning. Great if you are looking for a place off of Lake Tekapo. The cabin is perfect for families and friends (if they have similar sleeping times). Rooms are divided with simple mdf boards that stops underneath the truss structure. It does get cold during winter. Appreciate the host starting the fire pallet, turning in the electric blanket, and the air conditioner prior to our arrival. We arrived after dark. Simon welcomed us and gave us restaurant recommendation. Pleasant, wholesome stay.

We had a lovely stay. Comfortable accommodation within easy distance of some great walks in beautiful native forest. The accommodation was private and quiet, even though next door to the main house. Pellet fire and heat pump kept us warm, but wondered how warm it would be in the middle of winter.
