I enjoyed my stay there for 5 days. Central Air works Great. Everything was Clean & Quiet. The only thing I'd change would be to add Drapes to the bedroom. Only plastic mini blinds. Sun was Beating down on the Bedroom windows.. Other than that it's a great place.

Bonifay is a very, very small town and a bit remote - no fault of the owner, of course. Pulling in at night as a single female in this area made me a little uncomfortable. The cottage is a bit run down from the outside. But the inside is perfect - spacious and pristinely clean, just as the other reviews describe. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the linens are wonderful. Honestly, this is one of the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. All the way to the baseboards, the cottage is absolutely spotless. That said, it is also one of the most expensive I’ve stayed in. With fees and taxes, it’s $174+ a night. The area was quiet although guests might like to know that a nearby rooster began crowing at about 5:30am. It lasted about 15 minutes. I was also awakened at about 4am by a loud, intermittent whistling noise that sounded like a strange bird call. It scared me to death. I got up and realized it was coming from the back of the fridge. I jiggled the fridge just a bit, and it stopped.

We enjoy our stay here every time we come. The homemade baked goods are always a special treat. Thala and Paul are exceptional hosts.
