The view of mount cook was breathtaking and night sky was surreal. I understand the house is old, it is what you get for the money, but we were disappointed with cleanliness. There were uncleaned cutleries and pans. Bedside table had spider net on it. Overall cleanliness was a downer. Location wise, not far from Twizel city central where lots of restaurants and shops and a best place to stop over for mount cook trip. I will suggest host to give extra care on cleanliness. The house is located on a perfect spot, have a lot of potential to be a 5 star.

It was a cosy and quiet accommodation with a very nice view. The house is well equipped. Unfortunately, the oven in the kitchen did not work for us. But otherwise everything was fine.
