Great night away, really cosy cottage and really comfy bed. All the added extras like honesty bar and snacks was a lovely touch. Highly recommend.

This was our third stay and we had a wonderful time! The Little Barn is a relaxing haven in beautiful and peaceful rural surroundings. The luxurious main bathroom is always a highlight of our stay, and I enjoyed a candlelit bath every night. The bed is also very comfortable and roomy. We were staying for my partner's birthday, and Dawn was kind enough to provide prosseco and other treats. Staying for three nights, we visited Rob Royd Farm Shop and Restaurant (5 mins walk away) for lunch and to purchase snacks and treats. Dawn recommended two lovely local walks. We visited Worsbrough Mill and the tearooms there for stone baked pizza, and Barnsley town centre is an easy walk away too. Dawn and Bryan also gave us a lift to the local pub, The Strafford Arms, where we enjoyed a delicious meal. Dawn and Bryan are friendly and approachable hosts. It's nice to chat to Dawn and Bryan and see their dogs, but the accomodation always feels very private too. Can't wait to stay again!!

Dawn was very welcoming and very helpful! The little barn is the perfect getaway to cosy up, relax and switch off! We were going to go out for dinner but as soon as we saw the place it was definitely a takeaway and stay in kind of night! Location is great and not too far from the Peak District! 100% would recommend!

Dawn has a beautiful place here and was an excellent host, very friendly and responsive and offered some great recommendations for local restraunts/things to do and nothing was a trouble. We would highly recommend staying here! The dogs are awesome too!
