The home was a great get away from a family vacation. The home itself is beautiful and even the walking trail to the lake was beautiful!! My only thing I would say if you wanted to sit by the fire pit bring your own chair. The sitting area is nice but not close to the fire pit.

Where the Little River Runs was a nice retreat for our family of four. There were beautiful surroundings with nice trails, although the yard is a bit steep and the rocks should be traversed carefully near the edge of the driveway. But that is common to mountain terrain. They had ample kitchen amenities which really helped us with food options, plenty of supplies and nice decor. The porch swing chair was nice and the Sega system was fun. Just a note that the kitchen sink water gets very hot very quickly and the shower will get cold if you turn on the kitchen sink. Close to Beautiful DeSoto State Park and the attractions of Mentone. Loved the colored upstairs windows. Seth and Emmye were great to speak with, and we had no real issues with our stay requiring their intervention, and our privacy was respected. Would visit again.

Amazing place. Every sq. in. was useful. I appreciated the coffee cabinet was fully stocked. House was very clean. I’m a 70 y o lady and felt very safe there. Washer and dryer made taking all “clean clothes” home. The trails to the river were easily walkable for me. I enjoyed sitting next to the river on the bench provided. Thanks for a great stay.
