The good: House is large and well equipped to utilize the kitchen. Great big porch with plenty of chairs for enjoying the view. Proximity to wineries and places to walk is excellent; also close enough to a large grocery store. The room for improvement: As another review notes, you must pass through the room with two twin beds to access another king bedroom which is not clear in the photos. I messaged the day before arrival, the day of arrival, and during the four-day stay about checkout time and never received a response. The thermostat could not be set below 70 which felt very warm in some of the rooms midday. We would stay again because this met the needs of our group and offered a spacious place to relax!

The Cabin was big and clean. Unfortunately, the road getting to the cabin was difficult and really required an SUV or truck. The communication with Blue Sky was good. The house was not as well taken care of as I would have thought for the price we paid. There were some electrical issues in the house, for example the fans in the bedrooms did not work properly and some of the light switches seemed to have shorts in them. The grill which we used twice, did not have all the burners working and internet was very slow. The view was amazing though and the house had plenty of games to keep the kids busy. We also had to call out maintenance because the master bedroom fireplace pilot went out and made the room smell of gas.

View from the cabin was lovely! One of the better views we’ve had. Overall we loved the cabin. The only thing of note is that the wet bar downstairs wasn’t finished although it was advertised and one of the bedrooms is connected to another “shotgun style”- this wasn’t clear in the pictures.

I hate to give any bad reviews. We've had wonderful past experiences with Blue Sky rentals and would recommend using them. However, wanted to be honest on this property: for what you are paying and the size of the home, there is a level of expectation that definitely wasn't met. It feels like it's a 'churn and burn' property and needs some overall maintenance and love; not luxurious at all. Has potential. Def large and plenty of space. Location is remote but great. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views. Close to a lovely winery. Gaming tables were great but were worn down and some did not work properly. Arrive before dark if you are not familiar with the area bc the driveway is steep and winding and the directions we received were not accurate. (GPS will take you there, FYI.)

We had a family get together here, with half the group from Florida and the other half from New Hampshire. We really enjoyed this house!! You go down a long dirt road to get to it (would be tough on a sport bike or low sports car), but once there its great!! Plenty of privacy, and plenty of room to entertain! The winery right up the road is really cool too! Our favorite activity was tubing the Toccoa River about 40 mins away.
