What a wonderful stay!! John and Cori are fabulous hosts. They provided exactly what my wife and I needed at the end of a long cold day of riding our motorcycle. John called me as soon as I booked the stay to ensure I had received and understood the directions to their place. He also met us when we arrived to let us know that he not only turned on the heat in our room, he also built a fire for us to warm up to. This was most needed and so appreciated! After we settled in and finished our dinner from a place John recommended (delicious by the way), he and Cori introduced us to the family...their 3 beautiful dogs Max, Maggie, and LaLa. What a joy these pups are!! They were excited to meet us and then calmed down after a few minutes. These 3 are truly part of the family as they have the run of the home. However, they sleep quietly in the laundry room with access to the backyard. It's a happy agreement they have as the dogs love to be outside as well as in. We will return for sure!!

John and Cori were very friendly hosts, had helpful tips of where to shop in the area, and were very generous with the use of the kitchen as well as the room. The room was very neat and comfortable, and all the instructions on how to find the house were very clear.

The price is right! the room was clean and temperature wasn't too ho or too cold. I found the odor of the pets and cleaning supplies to be a bit much for me. I do not own pets and I use all natural cleaning products (never bleach!). Different strokes ... that would be my only challenge. Otherwise, their communication was great and for a "room in a house", it was priced very well. Oh. The bed is is a "medium firm"... not HARD ... not squishy. I like a pillow top at home. I didn't find this unusually uncomfortable.

John’s place was great. The room had everything we needed and the private bathroom was a plus. He also made sure we helped ourselves to the kitchen if we needed to warm up food, get water, etc. The surroundings were beautiful and the dogs were wonderful even though we barely met them!
