Fishing enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here. In the immediate vicinity there are three fishing ponds, between which you can choose your favorite. A special permit is required for fishing. There is also an 18-hole golf course for professionals or beginners on the other side of the lake. You can explore the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Schleswig-Holstein by bike or on foot. Also a ride in the nature is possible due to the nearby horse farm. For children, the ErlebnisWald Trappenkamp with varied nature play areas, game enclosures and adventure trails is a great destination. You can also easily reach Hamburg or various Baltic Sea resorts.
