The Cove was just what we were looking for. Quiet, beautiful view we could just sit and watch from the deck, easy access to the water. We enjoyed every moment here. It felt private, the building is right beside the main house but with nice landscaping around windows we felt on our own. The beach/waters edge is mostly sandstone so we could walk along a fair ways, lots of beach glass to find! We can't wait to come again.

This was a very beautiful location looking east across Georgia Straight , listening to the waves lapping. The cabin was quaint , well stocked for cooking and had a comfortable bed. Sarah was a very good communicator and flexible in letting us check in an hour early and out an hour late. Since it is on an island, the Wi-Fi is intermittent and unreliable. The cell phone signal was also poor. We dropped some work calls and were often left waiting for Wi-Fi . No problem for a peaceful getaway without any work requirements or cloud based files. The backyard appeared to me as directly accessible from the cabin in the photos, but you need to walk out the back door and down a ways before you can access the lawn. Not a problem at all but good to be aware rather than expect it on your front doorstep like we did. The kitchen was well stocked and Sarah arranged for a cooler because the fridge is quite small. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway without work. Thank you, Sarah!
