Cool experience - staff was very helpful, including bag storage and check in. The pub noise goes to midnight, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Bathroom in room 8 is stellar. Tons of space, and great water pressure.

Beautiful pub to stay, so historic. The room was absolutely stunning with original beams and fire place. The bed was super comfortable . The ensuite was massive with a awesome shower with good water pressure . The pub downstairs was lovely. The food was delicious. Highly recommend. The staff at the pub were so wonderful so welcoming and helpful . A few cons : - as stated in many reviews it is very noisy . We unfortunately stayed when there was a pop up party / rave in building across the road . The music was so load it shook our room and we couldnt sleep . This obviously isn’t the pubs fault . But be aware of this. - the room had a very strong smell of old stale cigarette smoke . This is I’m guessing from the age of the pub .

great place to stay! great interiors and amazing bathroom. It tends to get noisy at night, as mentioned so definitely advise to take earplugs with you. Highly recommended
