A good place to stay. Large bedrooms, nice porch, easy to find and park. Good communication with Interhome. The place is purely rental, and lacks every stuff such as sanitary supplies; hand soap, detergent, and dish washing brush and kitchen supplies; trash bags, tinfoil, spices, cooking oil etc. Relatively quiet neighbourhood. An advantage that the pool area was gated (as was the whole property).

The Interhome team was very rude over multiple contacts with different members of the team! The house was good, though there were no amenities what so ever that were excused with the Covid excuse, like: we don’t leave dishwasher tablets due to COVID, there were all sorts of detergents and let’s say that with that logic they shouldn’t have left even toilet paper, which by the way, was only 1 roll (rented the house for 5 days). When I called the first time to ask only if they had some beach/pool towels, the lady on the phone didn’t even let me finish and when she heard extra towels she said: “ NO, NO, NO, NO (and I put in CAPS because it really felt that she was screaming/raising her voice) the towels you have are there and you can go to a chino shop to buy more if you want”. I honestly called only because the house had a pool, therefore I assumed that the possibility to dry yourself once you get out avoiding to use the towels that you use once you get out of a clean shower, was a logical question. Not so recommended, the house was “prepared” just half way, it had a beautiful layered garden around the house (as this is on a hillside), the beautiful part was the front of the house, the back felt like a house that was abandoned, full of weeds, piles of dirt and dried out flowers and branches. Honestly could not let my dog free around the garden without supervision due to the fact that there could have been easily some snake or something under so much dirt. Anyways could not make sure and had to keep my dog under closer supervision to avoid any unwanted issues, if it was clean wouldn’t have had to do it. Overall disappointing, even though the property is not bad, lots of space in front of the house, just a few minutes drive from the center/supermarkets/restaurants etc… Jávea is great!
