Great place to stay for a weekend getaway! Check in process was super easy due to great communication. Lovely place on the water.

The listing claimed that there was a pool. There was no water in the pool. Pictures showed kayaks but you have to rent those for an additional cost. I found a glob of hair on the shower wall and poop on the upstairs toilet seat. The place had a noticeable musty smell. The welcome note stated that there were candles but when I went to light them, I noticed they were all gone. The upstairs slider door did not lock. The screen door was broken off. There was no screen door on the lower slider- which might explain why I found 2 ticks in the last bed. We planned to cook to save money so we discovered the can opened was broken and one burner on the stove didn’t work. I’m usually not a complainer. I kindly let the host know of these things and he didn’t even respond. If he had at least apologized, I would not have left a poor review. This place is not worth the money paid. Only the small dock pictured is for your use. The decks were too dirty to enjoy. Even the stairs were pretty dirty.

I had no clue about Hot Springs Village and now I want to retire there. What a nice community with so many things to do. I plan to visit again. The location is great, it is not a far drive from downtown Hot Springs, it is quite central. You feel like you are in a town but also in the country. The area is very scenic, exactly as I hoped. We will be back!
