Lovely old buildings with lots of land, warm welcome as well. However, I believe the building is for sale and they are not looking to improve/spend on the general interior and pool. From basics of matching glassware through to cleanliness (we left it cleaner than arrival), such as a poor dishwasher (filters we cleaned), dust and dirt in slightly harder to reach areas, black marks in showers (mould), very creeky beds, tired paintwork etc. The pool was the main concern, the picture shows a blue pool, our pool was essentially green! We used it and we’re advised that the liner needed replacing. Having used the brush, it became apparent that the majority of it was just dirt and slimy on the bottom. I was able to see dirt come to the surface. Pool needs a deep clean and the system flushed for better filtration. All in all this could be far better with money spent! Unsure whether to raise a case for an unsafe pool with child illness following water ingestion, will await an interhome response
