The staff at Millbrook Inn are super friendly, welcoming and helpful. There’s a beautiful creek in the back and the rooms are as described. We rented out the whole place and it was not “private” as advertised. People had access to our floor and were walking around late at night (the doors to our floor were not locked as promised during checkin). Although you can lock your individual room, it was an unexpected and unnerving experience to have other people in your space while you’re sleeping.

Tom and Teri are exceptional hosts. We needed a place for our family to stay near us for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the service, care, and hospitality that we were provided with. The inn is clean and beautifully appointed. We had everything we needed and Tom and Teri were prompt and ready to help. These two are what good hosts are made of it. We had our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant below and everyone was so happy with the food and drinks selection. Thoughtful touches were added throughout our celebration from start to end. Thank you for being a part of our special weekend. We hope to pay your kindness forward and we will continue to visit again and again.

Teri and Tom were very hospitable and generous. Communicative and available. The inn is beautiful and the space is fun. We got the full upstairs to ourselves and the full downstairs dining area all to ourselves after the restaurant closed down. There are games which makes it fun for a group of friends. It’s faces the Delaware River and the walk across Pond Eddy was beautiful. This stay isn’t necessary a private location as you’ll encounter other people as they enter the bar or restaurant, so just something to consider if you’re looking for something for quiet and private. Otherwise, still really great and fun.

Teri was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. We were a group of 8 for a birthday getaway. It was great having the downstairs restaurant and parlor to ourselves when the restaurant closed down for the night. And a fun location right across from the DE river with plenty of opportunities to spot bald eagles by the riverbank.
