The house was lovely and the pool area was a great place to hang out with the family. Very spacious, and well maintained. We also enjoyed having a pool table and the outside seating area.

After a bit of a glitch getting in (to which Marc responded very quickly) we quickly selected our bedrooms & settled in to the delightful accommodation. The location is perfect for exploring the local vineyards & chateaux. Saumur is beautiful & we'll worth a visit. We quickly realised that lunchtime is the best time to eat out if you have small children as most restaurants close after lunch until 6 or 7pm. Many hours were spent around the lovely pool, which the children loved. A very well equipped house with everything you need. Would highly recommend for larger families or multiple generations, as we were.

We had a wonderful week staying at Marc’s lovely French home despite some rainy weather. There is more than enough space for 8 guests (although note you will need to use the two single beds or small double on a mezzanine). The house is quiet and secluded. The pool and covered area to enjoy food by the pool are fantastic and there is a bbq which we also made use of. There is also a pool table and dart board which we made use of and were good fun. Kitchen well equipped with sharp knives etc It is clearly stated in the description but note you will have to bring your own bedding and towels. A personal favourite was using the bikes provided to cycle to the village bakery (10 mins) for morning croissants and fresh bread. Marc was responsive throughout although we met his neighbour Ophélie for checkin and checkout.

We had a great two weeks here. The house is quiet and secluded. The pool is great and we loved being able to eat outside everyday, under the outdoor cover. Great for keeping off sun and rain. House is very well equipped with plenty of kitchen ware, excellent dishwasher and washing machine. We bar-q-qued most nights. All very clean on arrival. Marc was very helpful with local info on markets, shops, bars and restaurants. Would love to visit again. Highly recommended.
