Our stay at Bette's place exceeded our expectations. First, she was warm and welcoming. Then, she provided invaluable insight, tips, and recommendations about Yosemite. She clearly loves the place, has spent a lot of time there, and loves to share with her guests. She asked about any food limitations and happily accomodated them. She packed us a breakfast to go one morning when we wanted to get into the park very early. The food was good, the room and bed comfortable. I especially loved the heated bathroom floor in the Bubble Suite! It was a pleasure staying with Bette, and would highly recommend her lovely home and hospitality!

If you are headed to Yosemite park and need a place to stay - look no further and pray Bette’s place is available. Our experience in the park was greatly enhanced with the bubble room as our home base. From the first moment Bette made us feel welcome and at home. She and Eileen were invaluable with their advice and knowledge of navigating the park. From providing a fortifying and substantial breakfast and snacks to go and directing us to leave early - we entered the park with no lines, found parking and enjoyed all the iconic sights free of crowds and hassles. Happily we enjoyed one breakfast in and spent a lovely hour in wonderful conversation with these two ladies. Eileen is a premier chef and Bette has stories that can’t be missed. The view of the national sierra forest from our bubble window is a once in a lifetime experience. The room was spacious, the bathroom with heated! floors huge and immaculate, the bed comfortable. Great location close the south entrance of Yosemite. Lots of space with dedicated level including bedroom (with forest view), sitting room and bathroom. Helpful recommendations from knowledgeable hosts. If you have food/drinks with you, keep in mind to bring a cooler to keep food fresh (hosts were kind enough to lend us a small cooler) and eating/drinking is not permitted in the room. A nice bagged breakfast with snacks was prepared in case you want to leave early in the morning to go to Yosemite.

Bette’s place is amazing! Great location and beautiful as well. Bette and Eileen were both so sweet and made the stay 10x better and more memorable. Their recommendations made our Yosemite trip! They gave us the run down on hikes, where to park, what to see and all the tips! The on the go breakfasts were such a plus and were great as well. Definitely an awesome place and would stay here again and also recommend to friends and family! :)

We loved our stay at Bette’s. Staying here is like staying at a family cabin that you’ve gone to for years. It's so peaceful, and Bette and Eileen are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. Our spacious suite and bathroom were impeccably clean. It feels very private since you have the entire floor to yourselves. I slept wonderfully here as the house is so well-constructed that there are no noises from elsewhere in the home and the bed is very comfortable. We appreciated the breakfasts packed for us for our drives in to the park. We were so proud of completing the hike to the top of Nevada Falls and it was so fun to come home and share our news with Bette and Eileen! It was a delight hearing stories about the origins of the cabin and getting to learn about both Bette and Eileen’s impressive lives. We left feeling so inspired by them both and are very grateful that Bette shared this special place with us. Thank you for the great hiking tips and for the perfect weekend!
