Our house is the perfect place for enjoying the quietness in the heart of Axarquia, in Torrox, a whitewashed village with an original Moorish design characterized by narrow winding streets. It reflects what we are and what we like: each detail is carefully chosen to give an harmonious and peaceful atmosphere. We are looking forward you come to our house and discover what we have fallen in love with in this region. Laura and Jorge ♡ Located in the old part, at a very few meters from a public parking, the house overlooks the Plaza de San Roque, with its church in “neo-Mudejar” style. You can admire it from the cozy terrace where, in addition, on one side you will enjoy impressive views of Sierra de Almijara, in front you have the green hills dotted with farmhouses and, on the other side, the silhouette of the white houses drawing in the blue sky. The house was completely renovated in 2020. On the ground floor you can find a fully equipped kitchen, the bathroom and the living room (with Smart TV and free access to movies and series). There's no washing machine available to guests, but you can find Laundries (both autoservice and non) in Torrox Costa (please, ask us for more details!). The staircase that takes you to the first floor has steps a little higher than usual; for this reason we think that it is not very suitable for people with reduced mobility, to our regret. On the first floor there is the main bedroom with a double bed (1.50 x 2 m) and a small balcony that overlooks the quiet Calle Pez. Close to it, there is another room, with a staircase that leads to the terrace. Did you know that Torrox is nicknamed the town with "the best climate in Europe"? It has an average annual temperature of 18º and many sunny days! Anyway, if necessary, both the living room and the bedroom are equipped with hot/cold air units.
