We had a great stay at Leif’s Dutch Flat Hotel in the Sunrise Suite. The rooms are very cozy and it’s a pretty quiet and relaxing place to stay. Leif is very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to another stay if we are ever find ourselves out this way again!

The Sunset/balcony 2 room was cute and comfortable. In summer you could sit outside on a big balcony right in front of it. If you have family or friends staying in the hotel as well this and sunrise/balcony 1 room share one bathroom with a little hallway and you could close the door to the main hall. So very private. In the weekend they serve breakfast which was excellent and a lot! Coffee and tea is always available to make yourself on weekdays. We sat in the lobby in front of the fireplace after coming back from dinner. We bought a beer in the grocery store across (open until 8pm). The pool table is temporarily not available but a piano and games are. The people running the hotel are super friendly and we had a great time with them. Hope to come back in the future for sure!!

I recently stayed at this historic hotel in the gold rush town and had a fantastic experience. The property is clean and charming, with all the necessary amenities. Leif is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast that was provided each morning. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience. I look forward to staying here again in the future
