We had a lovely time staying in Barrie’s place. The whole flat has been renovated to a very high standard and had everything we needed, including a kitchen with good quality cookware (actually sharp knives!). Barrie made sure we had a cot, changing mat and high chair for our baby and he was very friendly and responsive. For those with younger children, it might be helpful to know that the smaller bedroom is off the kitchen - we had to be quiet after our toddler’s bedtime! The location is great: the view is excellent and it’s an easy walk into town or to a beach. The flat is on the ground floor so people and cars/busses pass by the window which greatly entertained our little one but might not suit those looking for privacy. The traffic doesn’t detract from the view at all. All in all, an excellent place to stay in St Ives!

Barrie was a fantastic host, arrived early, messaged Barrie and he immediately accommodated earlier check in! House was just the same as pictures/ described! Very clean and full of everything you needed! Great location and stunning view! We will be back! Highly recommend this place for a relaxing Cornish break with family or friends! Thanks so much Barrie we had an amazing time!

Beautiful Airbnb in St Ives! We loved our stay in at Barrie’s place. Everything was perfect, and the space is so comfortable. The hosts are responsive and we’re flexible with our check in. We highly recommend this Airbnb as a base for St Ives and Cornwall — great space, value, and beautiful views over St Ives.

The flat was clean, warm, comfortable and stylish, but for us, it was all about the view! When the weather was a bit miserable, we were happy just sitting in the window seat watching the tide going in or out. The location was great, just a short walk into town and very close to the train and bus station. Communication from Barrie was excellent, he replied to my messages almost immediately. His wife (whose name we didn’t manage to catch) was friendly and extremely helpful when we had a slight problem. It was nice to have the basic tea and coffee things to start us off because I forgot to pack any sugar. We appreciated the decent sized tea mugs too. The only improvement I can think of would be a towel rail in the bathroom. Other than that, it’s hard to find fault with such a lovely flat.
