Beautiful cottage, a perfect setting for a weekend with three adult couples and two children. Within walking or driving distance of lots of attractions in the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales, and the lovely market town of Thirsk. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious with lovely decorative touches such as antique furniture. Well-equipped kitchen for self catering. Although we visited in March and the weather wasn't warm enough for outdoor dining, it would be lovely to sit outside in the summer evenings.

We had a great stay at White Lodge Cottage and loved exploring the surrounding area. The cottage is very large with lots of space for our group of six. It was easy to check-in and the house had everything we needed for a long weekend, including a lovely log fire and lots of blankets, pillows, etc. We weren't aware that we would need to pay a £500 deposit up front in order to check-in, which was a bit of a surprise. Those looking to book should be aware of this, that they'll need to lay out £500 for a week or two on top of the booking. Luckily this wasn't an issue for us but might be for others.

Gorgeous cottage, walking distance to Thirsk and the railway station. Beautiful area. Everything you could want and more at White Lodge Cottage. Suited 4 couples. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at The White Cottage Lodge. The space was beautiful and comfortable and perfect for our group. Lots on walking distance and nice and private. There were some communication issues due to the way the property is managed but we got this sorted and did not take away from the stay in the slightest. We would love to visit again!
