We had a wonderful time staying at Gene’s Reeks District apartment. As the listing description states, it was a welcome touch of luxury. Very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The country side is lovely and a great location from which to explore the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsula or both. We were delighted to meet Gene’s parents who live on-site. The little extras provided in the fridge and on the benches were an extra special touch. We would highly recommend (and do follow Gene’s directions to get there rather than Google maps).

Wir haben mit unserem Sohn (1 Jahr alt) in Genes Wohnung gewohnt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, alles war sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben den Platz dort sehr genossen, unser Sohn hat sich frei bewegen können und die Ruhe dort war wunderbar wohltuend. Vielen Dank für alles.

This is my second time staying at Gene’s place. I stay in AirBnbs in the US and Europe frequently and this one is without doubt my absolute favorite. The space is large, beautiful and extremely comfortable, combining beautiful views and high-tech modern conveniences. But it’s the personal touches that make staying there so wonderful. We arrived on a day of terrible weather, and Gene had so thoughtfully provided cheese and prosciutto (and wine!) for supper so we did not have to venture out in the pouring rain, plus very generous breakfast supplies. Gene’s parents Celia and Mossie live downstairs, and they are so kind — when the power briefly went out because of the storm Celia heroically ventured out to bring us a pot of tea and a flashlight. The apartment is perfectly located for visiting Killarney and the Ring of Kerry, with beautiful scenery and walking easily accessible but distance from the hubbub of the town. And top it all off there’s a lovely dog to throw the ball for!

As advertised,a luxury top floor 3 bedroom spacious apartment /loft style accommodation, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside and close proximity to Killarney,killorglin glenbeigh I would highly recommend to anyone interested in accommodation in the Killarney or surrounding areas to stay at coolcarra

The best air b & b I’ve stayed in. We didn’t want to leave. The apartment is set in beautiful surroundings & was absolutely spotless with everything we needed to hand. The decor is fab & it feels really cozy. It’s about a 10 min drive from the Gap of Dunloe & 20 mins to Killarney. We can’t wait to come back & stay for longer next time.
