We are a large family, two parents with children ages 1, 6, 8, 11, 15, 18 and 22. With such a variety of ages it can be hard to find a property big enough and versatile enough to accommodate us. I was a bit worried with this listing as it had only a couple of reviews - however - Luc the owner was very responsive and helpful via email before booking, after booking before we arrived, and even when were we actually at the house too. Although the house is very much perfect for a holiday house, it is unlike some other airbnbs as it is actually a lived in house. This was a good thing for us as it made it feel homely, there were some toys, books and games for the children (and adults) kitchen items etc but at the same time, this family had really no clutter, all their stuff was packed away so we had completely empty wardrobes and cupboards to use, washing machine available, empty fridge and freezer ready for use, space in kitchen cupboards for our use too. So it felt homely but it was still perfect for rental. The pool was really fantastic for our family. Small step into the pool and then a ledge maybe a metre wide where our baby could walk up and down. The rest of the pool was the same depth all the way along to the rest of the kids could jump in at any point without me worrying if it was too shallow. The pool was gated so no risk of baby wandering in. There was a fig tree in the garden that my girls were obsessed with. Along with a little swing underneath. Ping pong table was a hit with the teenagers. The rooftop terrace was incredible. An amazing view with fantastic sunsets, and you felt you were somewhere different. In fact we didn’t bother eating out, the kids were too excited to go “up to their rooftop” for dinner. Complete with table and chairs and also a little raised chair with cushions to view sunset. Several dining areas. Inside lounge, kitchen breakfast bar, kitchen table (but great bifold doors that open right out), garden table but under slight shade, roof top terrace. The windows all had lovely French wooden shutters which look really rustic but at the same time useful to shut out the sunshine to help keep rooms cool. Gave character to a very modern house. Location was ideal for us. We did not have a hire car. We took Eurostar London to Paris. Paris for one night and then took TGV to Marseille. Quick metro and bus which stopped right outside the house. No other need for car. Lidl was 2 mins walk which was ideal in the searing heat. The beach was 15 mins walk. Nice short cut through the horse race track. Park just opposite the house which had a magnificent looking chateau and gardens. Playground was within the park which the children enjoyed. Marseille Ferris wheel (beachfront) can be seen from the rooftop, kids loved going on it for €5 (adults €8) a great ending to the trip. 15 mins walk. Nice crepe restaurant opposite the wheel. Cafe Borely (opposite the house in the park) was recommended to us but we didn’t make it there, they are open just for lunch but it looked really nice. Overall, it was a great place for a family holiday. The beach being close, the pool and the lovely house. Spacious and something for everyone. Don’t hesitate to book :)

Très belle maison encore mieux que sur les photo avec en plus une table de ping-pong non mentionnée. Emplacement central tout à proximité. Communication très facile avec Luc.

Très bon séjour. Les propriétaires ont été très accueillants. Ils ont fait preuve d’une très bonne organisation et ont été très réactifs lorsque nous avions des questions. En ce qui concerne la maison, elle est très bien située et correspond totalement aux photos.
