Highly recommend a stay at Avenida Alcaudique. The host José and Rural Holidays were very responsive and helpful and made our stay very easy. The place is simply stunning and we really enjoyed the unseasonal wet weather as the cave house felt cosy and secure. In the hotter days the out door spaces, pool, hot tub and Peacock and chickens were great entertainment. Loja is a great base for exploring and it felt nice to get away from the town scape but still have the restaurants and supermarkets an easy drive away. We mostly enjoyed the views and sounds of being in the beautiful countryside and surrounded by mountains. If you can book this wonderful house I wouldn’t hesitate! We hope to be back one day soon. Thank you José and Rural Holidays for a lovely holiday in Granada.

José Antonio was a beautiful host. He showed us everything in detail and he was the best host we ever met (we've met a lot). If we had a question he was so fast answering. Incredible! Also he gave us perfect tips for trips, restaurants and perfect events for our family. The House is incredible and very special and when you enter you feel like you have your own oasis with so many places to sit, to eat and enjoy the view. Supermarket and everything is close! 5 min by car. A few spaces are kind of old and need to be refurbished. But besides of that it was such a beautiful experience. Even in February the weather was beautiful and sun was hot. So all in all we are thankful for this experience. Our kids had so much fun running around and feeding a Peacock and 4 Cats during this stay.

From arriving to meet our host Jose, the experience was wonderful. Jose showed us around his beautiful home and took time to explain everything. The accommodation in the cave was quirky, unique and comfortable, it really was a very special place. Once we closed the gate we were in our own little private oasis with different outdoor spaces, a pool and hot tub and so many choices of where to cook and eat inside and outside. We loved the animals and were kept entertained by the resident peacocks, kittens and chickens, so much so we were sad to say goodbye. Jose let us know nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed the bottle of wine he gave us, so much we bought more to bring home with us. The whole place was perfect and we loved every minute!
