From a large terrace with a fantastic panoramic view over the Gulf of Casamicciola and the village of Lacco Ameno to the island of Procida and Mount Vesuvius in the distance, you reach the semi-detached holiday apartment IKS192, which extends over the entire upper floor of a two-family house and is located in the village of Lacco Ameno, on the island of Ischia. The rooms overlook a large balcony, which is partially covered. Here you can drink a good glass of wine or eat outside while enjoying the view. Around the apartment you can enjoy terraces and outdoor areas decorated with plants and flowers. On the back terrace there is also a wood-burning oven for pizza / bread, which also serves as a barbecue where you can prepare excellent pizzas and grilled dishes after a day at the beach! Two bicycles are also at your disposal! The center of Lacco Ameno, with its many stores, boutiques, typical restaurants, pubs, bars and nightclubs is about 600 meters away and can be reached on foot along the seafront. Below the vacation accommodation is the beach Fundera, which is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas (for a fee). Other beaches can be easily reached on foot, by car or by public transport (bus). Also worth mentioning is the beautiful beach of San Montano in Lacco Ameno and a thermal park where you will find thermal water pools by the sea, natural saunas, a wellness center and a restaurant on the beach. Soggiorno spiacevole. Purtroppo il nostro soggiorno è stato il peggiore tra tutti quelli che ho fatto con Airbnb, per i problemi che abbiamo riscontrato e che riporto qui sotto. • Mancanza totale di acqua calda ultimi giorni • Nessuna ricevuta di pagamento per le spese pagate in loco in contanti (compresa tassa di soggiorno...) • Portone di accesso che si bloccava spesso • Impianto elettrico non a norma e pericoloso • Tubi grondaie rotte • Assenza forno a microonde “incluso” • Attrezzi da cucina molto vecchi • Aspirapolvere arrugginito • Attrezzi per la pulizia fatiscenti • Assenza doppie chiavi • Forno mal funzionante • Scarichi intasati • Sedie sdraio rotte • Wi-Fi non funzionante • Biciclette “incluse” rotte • Perdite d’acqua androne • Assenza bidoni di raccolta rifiuti • Sanitari fatiscenti Nonostante più volte interpellato, l’host ha promesso che sarei stato contattato dal servizio clienti ma ad oggi non è mai intervenuto nessuno. Fortemente sconsigliato.
Unfortunately our staying at this apartment was extremely negative. Firstly, we were greeted by a rude man who required us to pay for linen and city taxes (not mentioned in the listing) right upon our arrival. For the entire staying we had no hot water so none of us (8 people) could shower. We called the host to solve the issue with hot water also considering that the weather was cold, but we received no support whatsoever and again only rude answers. For the price we paid it’s furthermore ridiculous to ask the guests to pay the bills for a reservation of 2 nights and €50 for every trash bag left in the house (after €140 already paid for cleanings), as mentioned during the check-in. Needless to say that we warmly recommend avoiding this apartment.
Upon arrival to the Island we were greeted with a taxi. After arriving to the place we were informed of a $250 cash deposit. We were required to pay a city tax and cleaning fee, which should have been included in the total price. None of this was mentioned in the listing or confirmation receipt. We also paid to use the entire place and were only allowed to use two of the four rooms. One of the unusable rooms was not functional and unknown why the fourth room was unavailable during our stay. We had no toilet paper or hand soap in any of the bathrooms. We were supplied with one water for an expected 6 people. Beautiful location and view.
