The place was great! Very cute and homey. The place is right on the lake which made for beautiful sunsets with lots of stuff around. He even left us water and bagels/bread for our stay which was very thoughtful. There was some dust/spider webs that we had to take care of (especially in the loft) but other than that it was a wonderful stay!!! We booked last minute and he had it ready for us ahead of check in time and let us stay past check out with no additional charge. Would highly recommend!

Vernon's lake house is my go to stay in the area and I am a repeat offender, it's filled with all the essentials and more! There's always a large basket full of different kinds of bread, muffins, donuts. The coffee tree is filled with k cups. The fridge is stocked with bottle water. The kitchen cabinets are filled with different spices, alum foil, wraps, zip lock bags, and cooking pots. The back yard has a paddle boat, a row boat, kayaks, life jackets, gas and charcoal grill, fire ring, lounge chairs, and tons of fire wood!!

Vernon was a great host. We appreciated his hospitality, and it was wonderful to stay at his home. The amenities were outstanding, and the home was very clean. We enjoyed the view of the lake and loved the paddle boat and how relaxing it was to sit by the water. Thank you, Vernon, for making our stay so enjoyable.
