BEAUTIFUL location - quiet, peaceful, and the water comes right to the seawall at the edge of the house at high tide! Walking the beach at low tide was relaxing - not a sandy beach, but lots of rocks and shells to check out. the house is wonderful! The downstairs rain shower was like being in a spa. Kitchen had everything we needed, very well appointed. Be sure to look at the last photos in the 55 home photos listed as I planned to pull them up when we arrived, but the cell service was too slow to download the photos as to where to park/where not to go, so we were a bit clueless ... the walk to the home is on a little sidewalk that wends through other closely placed homes in the strip. NOT the place for a party gathering...which was exactly how we wanted it. If you want a beautiful quiet home for relaxation this is a great option. Higher priced, but worth it -water/beachfront, modern kitchen that looked recently redone, great bathrooms, hot tub...we would stay here again!

A truly amazing view, right on the Sound. It was almost like being on a houseboat. The home was well-appointed with beautifully remodeled bathrooms and fantastic water pressure in the shower . The home sits right on a pebble beach that is wonderful to stroll at low tide. (At high tide it is disappears completely - making it all the more magical.) You access the home via a walking path past several other waterfront homes, all while transporting your belongings in a wheel barrow - just adding to the charm of this little community. The restaurants in nearby (12 min away) Gig Harbor are wonderful. We truly hope to come back!!

This is a beautiful location for a getaway trip (even in the rainy winter)! The house was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. Heated floors in the bathroom were a nice surprise :). We spent a weekend here as a quick getaway from the city and it provided exactly what we hoped for. Though Rhonda provided great instructions, the parking situation was still a little bit confusing. As others stated, from the parking area it is a bit of a walk to the house (and up the hill back to your car when you want to leave!), but we thought it was worth it for the location and opportunity to be right on the water. We were lucky that the rain stopped and clouds lifted so that we had a beautiful view of Mount Rainier behind the city of Tacoma on our last morning.
