Location is central for walking to many museums and the hosts were lovely and the apartment beautifully decorated and supplied. However, it is extremely noisy with deliveries starting around 5am and building works 5:30-6am! Bring earplugs otherwise you get no sleep! Also, curtains in the bedroom did not close - so ensure that this is fixed before you book as you couldn’t black out the room to sleep or get dressed in privacy as apartments across Kohlmarkt can see into your room. Given these issues and a non-working tv remote and some leftover used sticking plasters from a previous guest, we thought it was an overly expensive stay that didn’t live up to the description. At this price, the issues inside the apartment were disappointing even though the hosts were very apologetic and kind (and do your research on road works outside the apartment before booking).

So easy to walk to great spots and get public transit when we wanted it. Beautiful space. Fun to walk out in the mornings right by the Hofburg! So many diverse restaurants close by as well as many wonderful grocery stores.
