Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Costcutters shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood. The property was converted from animal pens to accommodation during 2020 - 2021. There are two bedrooms with blackout blinds at the windows (we have very long days during the summer, here in Aberdeenshire ). The living room area is right next to the kitchen area, open plan. There is underfloor heating which keeps it cosy during the colder weather.

Leslie made us feel welcome and right at home. The kitchen was well outfitted, including fresh eggs & milk. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Parking was easy and the location is good for exploring the area. We had a wonderful stay.
Lesley and her family were very welcoming and the cottage was fantastic! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
We loved Coshelly! The setting was dreamy and we loved all the farm animals and window visits from the horsey. Lesley was a warm and welcoming host and was generous letting our wee girl visit all the animals. The Airbnb itself had everything you could need for a few nights away. All the board games, books and toys were a great addition. It was clean, warm and the beds were super comfy. Hope to stay again one day!

You will need a car; there is very little in the way of public transport. The village is half a mile away.
