‘The Shed’ was a wonderful place to stay. We had the best time and felt comfortable from the get go. Adam was the perfect host. Left us to our own devices but was always on hand if we needed him and super friendly. We appreciated the small touches especially and thought the place itself was modern and cosy at the same time. Not a single bad word to say. I am from Downpatrick but my partner is visiting from America and the location was more than ideal. Very happy to have stayed here!

The Shed is a lovely property with everything you could want from a place to stay. It was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, cutlery and plates/bowls; and the bathroom had toiletries provided. There was also a delightful welcome basket which was greatly appreciated. The property is well located for accessing Downpatrick and the surrounding area, and is an easy drive to Belfast and further afield. It's location is also a slight drawback as the road is fairly busy particularly in the early morning, which may be an issue for light sleepers. Worth knowing that as of December 2023 a school is being built in the area behind the property and there is some audible site noise from 8am or so, but it's very minor. All in all this was a fantastic stay for my partner and I, and our child. Would thoroughly recommend the property and Adam the host.
