It is a stand-alone unit, fully fenced and secure with spacious, private garden. Stargazer Cottage enjoys 2 bedrooms, open-plan kitchenette/living area, and opens onto the undercover deck with sliding doors and beautiful views. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, utensils, cutlery & crockery. The gas stove is outside on the undercover deck. Kindly note that there is a third bedroom with ensuite bathroom which is joined to Stargazer with its own seperate entrance. If you are 2 to 4 guests, you will use the 2 bedrooms in Stargazer while 4th and 5th guests will go into the 1-bedroom unit. There are 2 entrances to the cottage - 1 on the left into the 2-bedroom side and 1 on the right into the 1-bedroom side. Both these entrances open up onto the large undercover deck. This makes it especially ideal if 2 guests from the group want to stay privately to the other 4 guests who stay in the 2-bedroom side. On the 2-bedroom side of the cottage, Bedroom 1 is furnished with a Kingsize bed and Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds. On the 1-Bedroom side of the cottage, the bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. During the cooler months of our mild winter, there is a gas heater in the 2-bedroom side of the cottage and fluffy hot water bottles in the 1-bedroom side. Right below the cottage you will find The Braai Shed - a rustic space with beautiful views. This is a private braai facility for Stargazer guests. It used to be an old milking shed back in the day for milking cows as our property was a dairy farm. The Braai Shed is equipped with a large braai on wheels, bar counter, seating and a solar light - a fabulous place to unwind and enjoy good conversation.
