Wonderful stay. The house is big and cozy with everything you need. The surroundings are beautiful, we loved walking with the kids to the lake. The area is beautiful, so many places to visit nearby like Lough Key, Acres Lake and Carrick on Shannon. Margaret and Michael are wonderful hosts. When we arrived they had left us food, milk, bread... and treats for the kids. Amazing stay overall.

I decided last year to try Air BNB and so far, it has turned out to be quite successful. It seems that my guests agree with me and appreciate the secluded peacefulness of the house and setting. My kids are grown now and doing their own thing so I am now completely focused on Farnagh Retreat, adding little special extras as I go along like ‘My Happy Place’ last year and the planned hot tub this year. I feel really proud when I read the lovely reviews to know that guests have enjoyed their stay at Farnagh.
