host is very responsive and friendly. lot of connections with friends who have boats. he can also arrange a buggy to take you to the harbor. there are a few things you need to know. Thulsudhoo is a local island and does not have a lot of activities to do on the island. you will have to take a 30 - 80 minute ferry/boat to some other islands. Maafushi or other islands have all the activities. so, if this is the expectation you have, the garden Villa is a great place. if you are stuck on this island, the sand bank on the south tip of the islands is a must visit. (just walk around). there were only a few places to eat on the island. about the place itself, it's a bit of a hostel style place with 4 individual bedrooms opening into a common area. the common area having sandy floors was not to our liking and was tough to keep clean. the bedrooms are small and maybe lacks ventilation. bathrooms were good and had hot water and very basic amenities (hand soap, towels)

I had a wonderful time staying in Thulhusdhoo Garden Villa. Although the villa is more suitable for families or groups traveling together, I got to stay in the place all by my self as the place was going through some minor renovations, and me being a single traveler the host gave me an amazing deal. The villa has an amazing garden , 4 rooms , kitchen and an outdoor sitting area with cable TV . The villa is a couple of minutes from the Beach where the tourists hang out during the day . Thank you Mit. Definitely a next time .
