We enjoyed our stay! The location is very convenient, you can walk most anywhere in town (including several nice restaurants), access to the lake is really easy. The accomodations aren't fancy, but certainly very adequate with a nice little kitchen. Lots of well-thought-out little details, including coffee to make in the morning. The only thing to keep in mind is that the walls between units aren't thick and soundproof, but our neighbors weren't noisy at all and it was fine. Overall, it's a great little repurposed previous motel that is well situated and nicely outfitted. Thanks for the good stay!

I’ve stayed at the Feather Nest multiple times over the years when attending classes at the Folk School. It has always been very clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance of the school (only 1 block), restaurants and the Lake Superior shore. When I had a question during my recent stay, Jourdan responded within minutes. I’m scheduled to stay at least twice more this year.

We loved staying at the Chickadee Nest! It was easy to walk down to restaurants and shops but not on the same street as them so it was peaceful. I feel like the place was even cuter in person and had some really great personal touches from Jourdan that incorporated local businesses.

Our second stay at Jourdan’s place. Great value and location. Easy walk to Lake and downtown.
