Cindy and David where wonderful hosts. They engaged us in conversation, were courteous and a pleasure to be around. When needed a 9v battery for a smoke detector and after a quick text to Cindy, she was at our room door with a battery and step ladder so we could make the chirping stop. I would highly recommend "Martin's Rest" for anyone wanting a nice room with a very and access to a spring filled lake . Best Airbnb I've ever been at!

We had a great time at Dave and Cindy's place. Very nice and welcoming hosts. We unfortunately didn't have much time to really relax and enjoy the area as much as we would have liked. This place was exactly as described and very clean. We will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend staying here!

Cindy and Dave were great hosts. They (and their friends and family, camping at the small adjacent RV park that they own) were extremely welcoming to me, my kids, and our dog, with all the kids playing together and even making sure my kids had cake and ice cream when there was a birthday party going on. The loft is far enough away from the lake that it felt private and we didn't hear any noise from others down by the lake after bedtime. True kindness and hospitality like this is rare these days!

Cindy and Dave are amazing hosts the place is adorable, perfectly set on the lake we got to paddleboard used kayaks and they even took us on a pontoon boat ride and we had a beautiful barbecue for our last night I feel like they were truly family members! there’s only a few Airbnb in Evart and this is the best one to choose.
