We had a great december at Joana's house. Even though we didn't see her, it was easy to contact her. The apartment is great, suitable for a larger number. The equipment is fantastic (incl. modern air heat pumps, washing machine, kitchen with all modern equipment, etc.). Even though it was winter time, the sun was shining almost every day, so it was nice to stay outside and even take a swim in the cold water pool! A fantastic cleaner visited once a week; she was very helpful and we are very greatful to her indeed. The only thing we would change is that the pillows were a bit softer. The town is small, peaceful and people are friendly. Although many services were closed, there were enough necessary services quite near: grocery stores, cafes, pharmacy, hairdressing salon, restaurants, bus stop next to the house, train station a short walk away, etc. You could easily get to nearby towns and back by bus, as well as by train. For those who want a peaceful place this is the right one!

Casa do Mar Salgado is a beautiful house with great pool. It was the perfect place for my husband, son and our dog max to relax. The house has everything you need for your stay and is spotlessly clean. The linens were clean and fresh and the beds comfortable. The outside terrace by the pool is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your coffee in the morning and dinners in the afternoon. Joana is the perfect host and was super responsive and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely recommend Casa do Mar Salgado to anyone and hope that we will be able to stay there again on our next visit to the area.
