We had a great stay over New Year 2022/2023. Communication before during and after our stay was excellent, which made locating the property, checking in / out, and enjoying the local area really easy and and stress-free :) It’s a quiet and peaceful area with a beautiful lake within 30 mins walk or a 5 min drive. We also walked to the vibrant and picturesque coastal village of Baltimore, which was very scenic and took around 90 mins along the country lanes (just make sure you’re cautious about which side of the road you are on at blind bends as there’s no footpath). Skibbereen is another vibrant spot inland, with lots of shops, cafes and bars to explore. There are plenty of other places to visit from the bungalow, but it’s also a nice place to relax and get away from it all if that’s what you’re after. We enjoyed a bit of both during our 3 day stay, and wish we had more time to do more of both. Nothing negative to report as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves :) Thanks Eileen

Great spot, and Eileen was so easy to deal with. So close to Lough Hyne, the view at the top of the hill is worth the walk. If you have a car, this is a great location to use as a base thats close to services with easy access to destination sights.
