Literally a crime ridden ghetto. Crime and police apps warned of it being a major crime activity and dangerous neighborhood. Airbnb had such a big radius of where it Could be, and owner's location description was inaccurate. Drug paraphernalia was found by our kids under the porch. No towel racks or TP rollers in the bathrooms. Not enough linens for the beds, or remotely enough towels for # of guests. Kitchens were not stocked for cooking in. No hot pads, no oven mitts, no kitchen towels, dawn dish soap in every hand soap dispenser, showers infested with nats, no screens on windows so you can't let in fresh air without flies and mosquitoes too. The beds/mattresses are cheap and hard that we had to get our own bed mattress toppers. If it was in a better neighborhood, and no longer a ' Work in progress ', then it might have turned out to be a good place to vacation someday. In the meantime, we definitely ripped off.

Upon entry I found hair and dirt on all carpets, hair embedded in the bed sheets, hair in bathtub and on floors, a broken bed frame, roaches, moldy shower curtains, old used sponges at the sinks, food cooked on broken chipped dishes, nasty trash can lids, no coffees, sugars, creamers. Lots of holes and marks on walls and food on walls. immediately sent photos to host who was unresponsive and finally the next day sent a cleaner to reclean, after I lost a night of my reservation. After cleaning the carpets were not vacuumed, the shower curtains had mold, there was still hair observed on bedding and sheets. I took videos and sent to host and let them know I would clean myself. so after paying a cleaning fee, I cleaned myself, replaced shower curtains, and purchased bedding. This is the most unsanitary place I have been to with excessive cleaning fees. The host needs to hire professional cleaners. Would not recommend to anyone. I have been a host for 4 years and this place is the worst.

I visited for my 41st birthday! The location was centrally located to where we needed to go. The houses are new & exactly as pictured. The houses are very spacious, I had 21 people in my group & we all slept comfortably. The neighborhood is on the south side & around the houses it's "hood". However, they are building the area up & there are a lot of new houses in the area. We felt very safe regardless of the outskirts. We only had 2 minor issues, 1 was a shower curtain needed to be changed, but no big deal & the other was we couldn't find the tv remote for upstairs, but we weren't there to watch tv. Like most have said, walking into the house it is gravel, so be careful. I loved these houses & would definitely stay here again or recommend it to anyone visiting Houston! 8/10 stars from me & my crew! Only 2 suggestions from me would be to pave the walkway & some patio chairs. Thanks again Edwin
