What better way to experience Denmark WA then to stay in one of the original Mill Cottages which were built in the early 1950's for the Mill workers. June Cottage can sleep up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms. This Character home is just a short walk into the beautiful town centre and a 5 minute drive to the stunning Ocean Beach. We are also only a 15 minute drive to the famous Elephant Rocks and Greens pool. There is 4 surf boards and 2 paddle boards for you to use at the property. June Cottage was originally built in the 1950’s for the old wood mill works as the wood mill used to be situated over the road up the hill so all the homes were walking distance to work. The cottage has gorgeous original jarrah wood floors and some of the original wood windows. There is a beautiful little living areas in the main house, seating on the front verandah and also more seating on the back patio so lots of options! You will find a nice kitchen and dinning table in the kitchen area with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and big cooker. The main bedroom has one queen size bed and is off the main living room the second room also has a queen size bed and is off the dinning room. Plus a small room at the front with a single bed in. The cottage does have 1 more smaller bedroom but this room will be locked off. The bathroom has a big shower, please note there is a little wall around the shower you will need to step into (like a bath) The cottage has a little garden to the front and a small yard with grass/bushes to the back. Because of the age of the cottage it is a little quirky with different levels which all adds to the character but may not suit all walking abilities.
