威廉姆斯 · 农家乐 · 2室2床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · Prairie Cabin w Hot Tub, Dark Skies, Mtn View, 2BR
Enjoy expansive views of native prairie and the San Francisco Peaks, and watch for our resident herds of pronghorn antelope and elk! The dark night skies offer incredible stargazing, best enjoyed from the relaxing hot tub or the balcony deck. You'll choose 2 bedrooms, and enjoy the privacy of the entire home. Our peaceful, rural community of Parks is 30 minutes from both Flagstaff and the old Route 66 town of Williams, less than 90 minutes from the Grand Canyon, and about an hour from Sedona. For this listing, you'll choose 2 of the 4 available bedrooms. We do ask that the remaining bedrooms remain completely unused, as this is what allows us to offer this listing sized by-the-bedroom! If you need more or fewer bedrooms, you can search our listing title...or just ask! The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed with a memory foam topper, 100% cotton sheets, and a down-alternative comforter. From the bedroom, a patio door looks out on a tiny private deck, screened by native shrubs, which leads to the path to the hot tub. The downstairs bath with rainfall shower is just outside the bedroom door. We have towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, a hairdryer, and comfy cotton bathrobes for your use. The hallway to this bedroom and bathroom can be screened from the living room space by a sliding privacy curtain. The other 3 bedrooms are upstairs. The west bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed with a memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets, and a down-alternative comforter. That bedroom is also our library, so you will have a wall of books to look through if you need something to read! The north bedroom also has a comfortable queen-size bed with a memory foam topper, 100% cotton sheets, and a down-alternative comforter. This bedroom is the largest of the three, and has a closet for any clothing that you wish to hang up. The east bedroom has a comfortable full-size bed, 100% cotton sheets, and a down-alternative comforter. This room has French doors that open onto the upstairs deck, where you can lounge and enjoy a view of the mountains and prairie. The upstairs bath, with rainfall shower and teak shower mat, is off the hallway, just a few steps from each bedroom door. We have towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, a hairdryer, and comfy cotton bathrobes for your use. You also have a small workspace available, with a printer, a scanner, an extra monitor...and a view of the prairie. Ordinarily there is a small-ish chair at the desk to save space...but if you need to get some serious work time in, we can swap that for a standard desk chair! We have wifi available, but because of our rural location, we use a Starlink connection. It isn't always super fast, especially in the evening. We do not have a TV...so you may want to download some entertainment during the day or before you arrive! When the weather is nice, the upstairs deck is a great place to start or end your day. We have cushy patio furniture and a propane firepit (when fire restrictions allow it) to keep you warm. When it is nicest to be indoors, you can lounge in the cozy living room. If you'd like to add even more coziness, we can give you some instruction on how to safely use the woodstove! You'll have the use of our fully-equipped kitchen and a dining space that seats 8. We have all the basic kitchen appliances, pots and pans and utensils, as well as basic seasonings, cooking oils, etc. While we don't currently prepare a full breakfast...we do stock the fridge with a supply of our farm-fresh eggs! If you need to do a load of laundry, a washer and dryer are available, too. When renting the entire home for more than a few days, please know that we will need to enter the home once or twice a week for essential housekeeping, plant watering, etc. We will coordinate these visits with you! Last...please ask if you have any questions at all -- about us, our home, or the area. If you need something out of the ordinary -- let us know and we will try to help! We are always happy to help you plan your stay. We hope to see you in Northern Arizona soon! :)
This cabin was heaven! For a couple of Tucsonians to be able to escape the busier life (and heat...it was 90 there) of the Ol' Pueblo this was EXACTLY what we were looking for. The cabin was cozy and the scenery was absolutely picturesque. Ross and Kara were excellent hosts! They were always there to help as needed and were so nice to us. If you're going to the Williams area to visit this is the place to kick back to. We hope to be allowed back if we head back that way again. Thank you both for a terrific weekend. Kathy and Jay
A stunning home hosted by such a thoughtful couple! The attention to detail can be felt in every room; they have truly thought of everything to ensure their guests have a comfortable and cozy stay! Hope to be back very soon!
What an incredible place. Gorgeous and peaceful. The house is cozy and well equipped. We particularly loved the kitchen and the living room, with wood stove and red light. It was perfect to cook a good dinner and then relax by the fire after an adventure. We will definitely come back when in the area again. Kara and Scott are such great hosts and went above and beyond to make sure my family had a great stay. And the sheep Sabrina e Sophia are lovely. :)
Our home sits on the edge of a small neighborhood in a peaceful rural setting.
By road, we are about 5 miles from Interstate 40, and the last 4 miles are county-maintained gravel. It is passable for any type of car, but sometimes has bumpy washboards and loose gravel on the surface...and your vehicle WILL get dusty on the drive.
We are about a 10-minute drive from the Parks feed store, which sells gas, and has a small convenience store. We are about a 30-minute drive from the nearest restaurants, groceries, and other services, in either Williams or Flagstaff.
Our property backs up to public land, so great hiking, biking, and wildlife watching is available right from our door. You can also drive or walk to explore other nearby options, including open prairie, small lakes, and ponderosa pine forest.
Unfortunately, there are no public transportation options available to our home, and we would not recommend relying on Uber or Lyft due to cost and possible lack of availability.
Flying directly to the Flagstaff airport can be a great option for visiting this area, and rental cars are available there. It is also possible to take the train (Amtrak) to Flagstaff, and rental cars are available downtown as well.
We also have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited which we rent through Outdoorsy, so please ask if that is of interest to you!
If you run into a scheduling problem, or other transportation difficulty, please let us know...we will do what we can to help you figure it out and get where you need to be!

Ross and I have called the Flagstaff area home for over 20 years, and we love to help people explore and enjoy this amazing and beautiful part of the country. Traveling, exploring, hiking, camping, and wildlife watching are some of our favorite things to do and to share with others. One of the things we love most about being an Airbnb host is that we can meet people from all over the world. It's like traveling without leaving home! We look forward to welcoming you to our home, and to helping you make the most of your visit!
